Signposting to laughter and fear

The first book I wrote, 'There It Is Again' sat for 33 years in a box and did not deserve publication, quite honestly! Not in that form, should I say. It must have had something going for it, because 25 years or more after reading it, my father was still referring to parts of it! Dad passed away in January 2024 and it was then that I decided I would revisit it and publish it, whilst dedicating it to him. So , I edited bits of it out altogether and wrote new bits . I have to say I am proud of the end result. It was published in April 2024. When I realised I was missing the characters, I decided to write a sequel. Skinner Rides Again was a delight to write and I absolutely love it! It is full of fun and love, life and music. Two weeks after finishing it (in a very intense 6! weeks) I had a heart attack. Whilst recooperating, I revisited a ghost story that I had started, but had put aside to write my sequel. I decided to write short stories, having got the idea to do so, whilst I was in hospital. In August 2024 , I published 13 Bedtime Horrors of 2,000 (each story is 2,000 words or just over). I wrote another set of spooky stories, 13 Nightmares of 2,000 which was published in early March 2025, just 2 days after the delayed publication of Skinner Rides Again. My next project is to write a horror/supernatural novel. The humorous novels are available in paperback from lulu.com and the horrors are available in all formats from Amazon.
